Yudhiṣṭhira said: "O Śākuni! You have won this gamble from me by using deceit. Let us now grasp the dice and play a thousand times.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "हे शकुनि! तुमने छल का उपयोग करके मुझसे यह जुआ जीता है। अब हम पासे को पकड़ें और एक हजार बार खेलें।"
I have a hundred laden jars, each filled with a thousand gold coins. O king! That apart, my treasury has inexhaustible gold and muc gold. Those are the riches I now stake to gamble with you."

Yudhiṣṭhira said: "O Saubala! I have one thousand elephants that are in must. They have golden girdles and are hung with golden garlands. They are spotted.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "हे सौबाला! मेरे पास एक हजार हाथी हैं जो अवश्य हैं। उनके पास सोने की करधनी है और वे सोने की मालाओं से लटके हुए हैं। वे धब्बेदार हैं।
They are well trained, with fine tusks and are capable of bearing kings. They can withstand every kind of noise in battle. They have giant tusks like shafts and each bull has with it eight she-elephants.

Yudhiṣṭhira said: "I have one hundred thousand slave girls. They are young and extremely beautiful. They wear bracelets and armlets, necklaces of gold coins and wear ornaments.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "मेरी एक लाख दासियाँ हैं। वे युवा और अत्यंत सुंदर हैं। वे कंगन और बाजूबंद, सोने के सिक्कों की हार और आभूषण पहनते हैं।
They wear expensive garlands and ornaments, beautiful garments, and are anointed with sandalwood paste. They wear jewels and gold and all of them are dressed in sheer garments.
वे महंगी मालाएँ और आभूषण, सुंदर वस्त्र पहनते हैं और चंदन के लेप से उनका अभिषेक किया जाता है। वे गहने और सोना पहनते हैं और वे सभी पारदर्शी वस्त्र पहनते हैं।
They are skilled in singing and dancing. On my instructions, they wait upon and serve the snātaka-s, advisers and kings. O king! These are my riches that I now gamble with you for."

Yudhiṣṭhira said, : "I have thousands of male slaves. They are always dressed in fine garments and are skilled and ready to serve.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा, "मेरे पास हजारों पुरुष दास हैं। वे हमेशा अच्छे कपड़े पहने रहते हैं और कुशल और सेवा के लिए तैयार रहते हैं।"
They are wise, young, skilled and intelligent and wear polished earrings. With plates in their hands, they feed the guests day and night. O king! These are my riches that I now gamble with you for."

Yudhiṣṭhira said: "I have as many chariots. They have pennants and are equipped with golden vessels. There are also well-trained horses, charioteers and wonderful warriors.

Vaiśampāyana said: Having heard these words of Pārtha, the evil one resorted to deceit. Śākuni told Yudhiṣṭhira, "I have won."

Yudhiṣṭhira said: "I have gāndharva horses that are spotted and have the colour of partridges. They have golden harnesses and were happily given by Citrarathā to Gandivadhanva. O king! These are my riches that I now gamble with you for."
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "मेरे पास गंधर्व घोड़े हैं जो चित्तीदार हैं और तीतर के रंग के हैं। उनके पास सुनहरे हार्नेस हैं और चित्ररथ ने खुशी से गांडीवधन्वा को दे दिए थे। हे राजा! ये मेरी संपत्ति है जिसके लिए मैं अब आपके साथ जुआ खेलता हूं।"

Yudhiṣṭhira said: "I have ten thousand chariots, carts and horses. They are yoked to the best draught animals.
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा: "मेरे पास दस हजार रथ, गाड़ियाँ और घोड़े हैं। वे सबसे अच्छे वजन वाले जानवरों से जुड़े हुए हैं।"
I have thousands of soldiers from each vārṇa. They drink milk and feed on rice and grain.
मेरे पास प्रत्येक वर्ण से हजारों सैनिक हैं। वे दूध पीते हैं और चावल और अनाज खाते हैं।
There are sixty thousand of them and all of them have broad chests. O king! These are my riches that I now gamble with you for."

Yudhiṣṭhira said, : "I have four hundred treasure chests made of copper and iron. Each of them has five receptacles filled with beaten gold. O king! These are my riches that I now gamble with you for."
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा, "मेरे पास तांबे और लोहे से बने चार सौ खजाने हैं। उनमें से प्रत्येक में सोने से भरे पांच पात्र हैं। हे राजा! ये मेरी संपत्ति है जिसके लिए मैं अब आपके साथ जुआ खेलता हूं।"
Vaiśampāyana said: On hearing these words, Śākuni resorted to deceit and told Yudhiṣṭhira, "I have won."
